It’s been a pretty busy month… Let’s see where to begin?

Last week of June marked my wife and my 16th anniversary. We went out of town to Mesquite, NV. We stayed at the Oasis Casino. We each got a massage at the spa and other than that, just hung out, did some gambling and relaxed a bit. I’ll say 2 things about the Oasis’ spa. 1. it’s only just a bit larger than a breadbox. 2. My wife, still in school gives a better massage than the “professional” massage I had.

July 1st marked the 3rd year anniversary of our moving in to our house here in Henderson. I hope to have installed a pool by this time next year. We shall see.

This past week was my birthday. When chatting with my sister on the phone she asks, “You are 34 now, right?” “No, I’m 35.” I replied. To which she followed up with, “Oh, I didn’t know you were THAT old.” Hey, thanks! :-| We had a bunch of folks over for a bit of a BBQ / Poker night. Had a really great time and it was nice hanging out with a bunch of people who’s company I really enjoy. Due to some bad planning on my part, my wife was at school during the BBQ which was a really big bummer. I hope to make it up to her soon.

My company moved in to our new office over this past weekend. 72,000 Sq Feet of space. Holy crap that’s a lot of room. I’ve taken some photos and perhaps I’ll actually crop and upload a few one day.. Tonight, I’m too lazy. But, the move this past weekend reminded me of something… DON’T SCHEDULE A MOVE FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF JULY. It’s way too freakin’ hot to be carrying much of anything…

Well, this next month should be pretty big, too. My wife will be finishing school and then going on to take her National exams to become a licensed massage therapist. I’m so excited for her. She’s kept a perfect 4.0 GPA while managing the house, the bills, the kids, the dogs, oh, and me. No small feat by any means. I can’t tell you how proud I am.
